Here is a little tale of deceit, for the ones that are far away, to  read, so they can  be aware. And for those already experiencing it, maybe to understand it.

Some 20-25 years ago, in a small country with lots of beaches and sun, olive oil and wine, things were looking wonderful. The bad smell of the past has been deodorized with fat paychecks issued by the government with the aid of the EU central bank, new constructions, a booming bank industry and the easiness to get whatever you wanted from all over the world, via the internet.

 

Convincing  people that this is the new reality wasn't hard. Who is going to deny a better life, when it is handed to them? The truth was neatly swept under the carpet, by the politicians. A new type of dependence, the worst kind, a debt, was created rapidly. And then all of a sudden, it was all over. 

 

People were asked to pay back for everything owed. And the ones that got the lion's share, had tools to fight this request, but all the rest were forced to pay. Disproportionately, since they had to pay for the ones that wouldn't pay. 

 

All of a sudden, in 2010, 2 years after the 2008 economic meltdown in the USA,  this land became a protectorate, with phony governments, that were actually not in the position to decide, but were  rather placed there, in order  to convey the decisions the EU, ECB  and the IMF  handed to them. 

 

So now, the same political parties that ruled all these years, that brought us to this awful state, are again asking for our vote, in order to "save us". 

 

We need to be saved from them.

 

I wonder if people understand that you should not trust the murderer after he has killed half of your family.

Ο χρόνος που τελειώνει - Εκλογές 2023

 Αγαπητοί μου συμπολίτες, κλέφτες και λωποδύτες, (όπως έλεγε και ο Καραγκιόζης)  μαζευτήκαμε ξανά, έναν μόλις μήνα από τις προηγούμενες εκλογές, για να ψηφίσουμε. Δεν ξέρω εάν η λογική να ψηφίσουμε αυτούς που εκφράζουν τα συμφέροντά μας αποτυπώθηκε στις προηγούμενες εκλογές. Εάν ναι, σημαίνει ότι μας έχουν πείσει ότι είμαστε όντως κλέφτες και λωποδύτες και ότι είναι απλώς ζήτημα χρόνου να πιάσουμε την καλή. Φυσικά δεν θα πετύχουμε όλοι, κάποιοι θα καταποντιστούν, και συνήθως αυτοί θα είναι οι άξιοι, που δυστυχώς έχουν ένα ελάττωμα - πιστεύουν στην καλωσύνη του κόσμου και ότι οι περισσότεροι άνθρωποι είναι από την φύση τους καλοί και λειτουργούν ανιδιοτελώς για το σύνολο της κοινωνίας. 

Αυτοί οι άνθρωποι υπάρχουν. Είναι ένα μικρό παραθυράκι μόνο, στον τοίχο της αδικίας και της απάτης που έχουν χτίσει οι πολιτικοί της Ελλάδας τις τελευταίες 4-5 δεκαετίες. Ας αποδείξουμε ότι είμαστε ακόμη ικανοί να τους ξεχωρίζουμε και να τους εκλέγουμε για το κοινό καλό μας. Ή έστω ας φανούμε λογικοί και ας εκλέξουμε ανθρώπους που όντως εκπροσωπούν το συμφέρον μας. Γιατί με το να εκλέξουμε ξανά κάποιο από τα κόμματα που μας έχουν κυβερνήσει στο παρελθόν, απλώς σκάβουμε τον λάκκο μας.
